The NEW lurker thread!

    Hi , I've been popping in now and then, its nice to know that Our Garden Gang is still here, although not many are posting like before, guess they are either too busy or were not able to find the site after it moved. I'm so glad I bookmarked the new site in time.
    I'm still doing my gardening, right now I'm picking huge red ripe tomatoes and loving this time of year. I just went out and  I found a couple of little tiny "Nutmeg melons," (cantalopes) this is my first  time growing them so hope that they do well. (have my doubts though) my green beans are up about 41/2 feet tall and starting to get buds on them, have picked 3 medium sized  zucchini's so far, (this is the first time I have been able to grow them)  lol!    anyways better stop and get my bread out of the oven.

Yeah..BLT's are the very best right now! We have some green tomatoes and a 6 inch long cuke..but that is about it.
The local market does have some luscious tomatoes however..so all is not lost yet.

(Don't be surprised if you are sneaking off in the middle of the night delivering zucchini to unsuspecting neighbours once they start growing!)

Hi. I'm an old member just got lost from most of my sites when all the changes went into effect. I've really missed this site so glad to be back. And as usual I have a lot of questions, lol.

(I have also lost most of my sites and old friends..but you will find many friends you knew are still here.)

This week is 'Lurker Week' for me .. get to spend lots of time on the puter
Have just been LIBERATED  
Threw off my bra, stopped fussing over my housework and am reading lots
and eating the leftover Halloween treats
(yes a cracked rib will do that to you ... being liberated from housework is
not a bad thing .. pity i had to learn this lesson the hard way )

Oh dear..not fun! Feel better soon.
 Now you have had a taste of the good life (besides Halloween candy)..you also know it really is true!

Housework will wait for any man. (and wait ..and wait.. and....)
